PESHAWAR: The Police on Monday averted a bid of terrorism by defusing two low- intensity Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) bombs in Charsadda district.
According to police, the bombs were placed near police lines Charsadda by unknown miscreants apparently to target police mobile with remote-control device. The police after receiving secret information rushed to the spot alongwith bomb disposal squad and defused the IEDs. Search operation in the areas has been launched and police have started investigation.
