“Pakistan will not be cowed down by Indian threats. Right to self determination of people of Kashmir cannot be suppressed through state coercion. Unjust allegations levelled against Pakistan are impediment on the way to peace in the region”, he said this during a meeting with Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider here on Tuesday.
The prevailing situation in Occupied Kashmir was reviewed in the meeting. Both the leaders exchanged views on violation of human rights in India-held Kashmir. Nisar said Pakistan would continue political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris. The right to self determination of Kashmiris cannot be suppressed through state coercion, he said.
He went on to say that Pakistan will not be deterred by Indian threats. Indian attitude is source of grave concern for UN, he said. Meaningful talks are inevitable for peace in the region, he stressed.
