MASTUNG: Seven people died and two policemen sustained injuries on Tuesday after a van carrying petrol collided with a truck near Mach in Bolan district of Balochistan.
According to the police officials, the van carrying petrol collided with a truck near the Quetta-Sibi National Highway. “The petrol in the van was being taken from Quetta to Sibi,” police officials added.

Five people burnt to death on the spot as the van caught fire, it added. The rest of the injured were shifted to a hospital, out of them, two succumbed to their wounds. Three cars which were parked nearby also caught fire in the incident.
An investigation into the accident is underway, police officials added.
